We're Recruiting!

Updated: Aug 11, 2020

Update: We're currently not actively looking for more team members, but if you'd still like to help out in some way (particularly if you have skills in graphic design, environmental modelling, or animation), feel free to send us an email anyways!

Today is a milestone for us, being able to get this far with so few people. It started with one, grew to six, and now we're expanding to more as we continue this journey to give the fans a deserving story for Bionicle's 20th Anniversary.

For those who may be still unclear as to what we're doing, essentially we're releasing serialized media content that unofficially continues the lore of Bionicle. The main source of content will be in the form of books, with supporting media like renders, animations, artworks, builds, and more. It's a scope with endless horizons, which is why we're looking for people to help sustain what we're currently doing as well as to enable us to keep making bigger and better things.

But enough backstory, here's the details.

First of all: We are a non-profit group, and doing this at the expense of our own time & money. Normally, artists should be paid for their content and work, and it feels unfair to ask for your talent in this project of ours for free. But if you're willing to contribute some time & energy to this project and down to put on a good show for the fans, we'll be glad to have you!

We are looking for people to fill in specific roles listed below. If you'd like to apply for one of the positions, send us an email at bioniclerebuilt@gmail.com. Your email must contain the following:

  1. SUBJECT LINE: "Bionicle Rebuilt Application: positionname"

  2. Name of the position you are applying for

  3. Elaboration of your skill set in that position

  4. Any other skills you can bring to the table

  5. Optional: Extra contact information (Discord or Reddit would be good)

  6. Optional: If you have any examples of your work, please include a link to them as it will greatly help us reach our verdict.

The period of submitting applications will last for three weeks ending on June 11th, and we will contact select applicants after a week for a quick online interview (chat, not video call).

In addition, this requirement is not exactly necessary but it would greatly help the communication and consistency of aesthetic: Knowledge and experience with the Bionicle franchise and lore.
